Assisting cooperation for the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive on underwater noise

The QUIETSEAS project funded by the European Commission (call “DG ENV/MSFD 2020”) is happy to announce its 2-day TRAINING SESSION on practical tools for the assessment of the environmental impact of underwater noise. The training session will take place on March 15 and 16th 2023 at CTN facilities, Cartagena, SPAIN.

Before this 2-day Training session, on March 14th 2023, CTN will hold a Summit on underwater noise management, which will provide tools, methodologies and guidelines to face underwater noise pollution management in a practical way. This Summit will bring together in Spain representatives of the most relevant initiatives on the issue such as TG Noise members, competent authorities, QUIETSEAS project partners and other international research projects. This event will also provide an opportunity to expand your network while knowing the latest trends to approach this complex issue.
